Who we are
My name is Katie Ecklund. I grew up in Broadview, Saskatchewan. We come from a farming family, but I found my love in dogsledding. In 2016, I got my Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Certificate of Government Administration from the University of Regina. I was a canoe guide with the Boy Scouts of America when I was younger and loved the feeling I got while being outside, so close to nature. I had coached snowboarding for over 10 years at resorts around Saskatchewan before Covid- now I have started my own Adventure business so I can share the experiences with my children and others!
I believe that harness dog sports can be enjoyed by anyone and large dog breeds need a high intensity training routine. Kicksledding is a great and safe way to exercise dogs.
We have 10 Esla Spark Kicksleds from Finland to rent out! These can be used with or without the help of our dog friends!
Duck Mountain Provincial Park has a multi-sport trail that is perfect for Kicksledding and we invite you out to our winter rental spot at the trail head to enjoy the beauty of a winters day in Saskatchewan.
